Metallocene Catalysis

10–12 November 2004, Singapore

The Institute of Chemical & Engineering Sciences, Ltd., together with the National University of Singapore have organized the 1st Metallocene Catalysis (MetCat) Symposium 2004: Homogeneous Metallocene Catalysis. The theme of the meeting, scheduled for 10–12 November 2004 in Singapore, is “From Academic Ideas to Technological Innovations.” The symposium will provide an overview of the present state of research, industrial development, processing, and manufacture and application of metallocenyl materials for catalysis. It also will offer an interdisciplinary forum for discussing challenges, needs, limitations, and technological opportunities. The program of the symposium consists of plenary and workshop presentations, invited keynote lectures, and other contributed papers in oral and poster sessions. Presentations will be based on innovative studies and recent results from the symposium topics:

Metallocene Complexes in C-C Coupling and Polymerization
Metallocene Complexes as New Catalysts in Organic Syntheses and other Emerging Catalytic Processes
Current Industrial Challenges and New technologies of Metallocene Catalysis
Young Researcher’s Forum
