VENUE

The IUPAC General Assembly venue is located in downtown Brisbane at the City campus of the Queensland University of Technology (QUT), nestled in a scenic location on a bend of the Brisbane River <http://www.qut.edu.au/pubs/campusvr/gpvr.html>. The campus contains student eateries and three café/restaurants (Degrees Café, City Gardens Café, and Artisans on the Yard) as well as a theatre and art museum, all of which are open to the public. The campus is immediately adjacent to the Botanical Gardens, historic old Parliament House, and is only a short walk from the city mall with its shopping arcades, restaurants, casino, theatres, and hotels.
